Delivering livin’s ECO programme

As part of our partnership with Mears Group, we provided technical support to obtain Energy Company Obligation (ECO) to 180 properties on behalf of livin.

The properties were a mixture of non-traditional Orlit house types, which benefitted from External Wall Insulation and solid wall properties that were insulated using the Matilda Blanket system (internal wall insulation).

Our services included:

• Chartered Surveyors Report to confirm that the existing properties were suitable to access ECO funding including the suitability of the proposed measures to improve the overall thermal efficiency.
• EPCs before the works commenced.
• ECO reports confirming the amount of carbon each measure would save
