- Advise the Building Owner (Developer) of their rights and obligations under the Party Wall Act 1996.
- Confirm which works are notifiable within the scope of the Act.
- Prepare and serve a formal Party Wall Notice on the Adjoining Owner(s).
- Produce an accurate schedule of condition to protect all parties.
- Prepare and serve the Party Wall Award.
- Liaise with the Adjoining Owners appointed surveyor as necessary.
- Amicably resolve any issues relating to damage or compensation.

- Where necessary prepare a counter notice setting out what additional or modified works are required.
- Implement appropriate measures to protect the Adjoining Owners property from foreseeable damage or works that will compromise their security.
- Agree when and how the works will be undertaken to remove any unnecessary inconvenience.
- Negotiate the terms of the Party Wall Award as necessary; and
- Agree compensation and damages when unforeseen events occur.
